- physiology of trauma and resilience; adhd, autism, and sensory processing diversity; anti-oppressive and de-colonizing mental health practices; conflict and communication; pyscho-spiritual development; group change & culture work; curriculum design and pedagogy (how people learn); wealth redistribution; structural power analysis; political change theories; writing craft; and musical expression.
- community mutual aid and abolitionist projects; anti-repression and emotional-spiritual care for activists, currently on hia c'ed o'odham, tohono o'odham, and pascua yaqui lands also known as southern Arizona
- em holds a license in clinical social work (lcsw) and masters in teaching (mst). they have held roles in differentiated classroom teaching, school-based social work, community integrative health administration, acute clinical mental health care with multiply-marginalized individuals, grassroots community organizing, meditation and mindfulness instruction, and restaurant service.
- em has studied with teachers across modalities and traditions including somatic experiencing, emdr, internal family systems, craniosacral therapy, attachment theory, psychodrama, theravada buddhism and contempletive traditions, restorative and transformative justice, and earth-honoring ceremonial practices. they honor many paths to knowledge beyond western institutions and credentials, including indigenous and folk medicine, and is committed to collaboratively de-centralizing gate-kept knowledge.
